Fundraising Underway for Historic Uptown Street Signs
Historic Uptown is launching a fundraising campaign for new street signs to enhance neighborhood identity. Community contributions are vital for the project. Donations and sponsorships are encouraged to make this legacy initiative a reality.

We’re thrilled to announce that Historic Uptown is getting new street signs, but we need your help to take the project beyond the basics.
To make sure every intersection reflects our shared identity, we’re raising funds to install signs at 25 intersections, two signs at each intersection, for a total of 50 signs.
Our remaining goal is $1,027 for
Individuals can sponsor a street sign for their block to ensure timely installation. When you donate, put the intersection you are funding in the notes.

The cost per intersection is approximately $79.00
That adds up quickly, but with community support, we can make it happen.
Here’s how you can help:
- Make a donation to the Historic Uptown Neighborhood. Every dollar brings us closer to our goal of
- Coordinate with neighbors on your block to sponsor signs at your intersection.
- Spread the word by talking to your friends, family, and fellow residents about contributing to the campaign.
Want to see what the signs will look like? Members of our team are working directly with the City’s Traffic Engineering office to finalize colors, materials, and placement. We’ll be sharing a finalized design soon, and we’re committed to making these signs both durable and beautiful.
This is a legacy project that will add charm, visibility, and neighborhood pride for years to come. Let’s invest in something we’ll all benefit from together.
