Annual Meeting
- Thank you everyone who attended our annual meeting. We would like to thank our guest speakers Richard Skorman and Tim Scanlon.

Parkside Historic Preservation Overlay
- The Historic Preservation Board hearings for the Parkside HP-O rezone was held on February 3 and March 3.
- The Colorado Springs Planning Commission hearing for the Parkside HP-O rezone will be held on April 9th at 9:00 am at 2880 International Circle Hearing Room. Conference ID: 487 531 137#.
- The City Council hearing will be next and final hearing for the HP-O.

Historic Neighborhood Partnership Updates
- At the City Council meeting on March 11, Historic Neighborhood Partnership members made recommendations concerning details in the proposed ordinance. And Council members raised various questions about the ordinance. They voted to table the vote until they can discuss the issues further on March 24 and vote on March 25 with no further citizen comments accepted.
- What can we do?
- Speak up and express your concerns and call or send an email to each Councilperson.
- Advocate for the City to preserve our home-rule rights.
- Advocate what you are passionate about which may include appeals; owner-occupied; required parking; size limitation of 1,000 sf and height no more than 2 stories; and clarify historic properties review by Historic Preservation Board.
