About

The Moses House is an irregularly shaped, sand-colored 1-1/2 story stucco house of no style, fully roofed with earth-colored clay tile and a central stuccoed chimney. Its original façade was addressed as 26 W Willamette. A square stuccoed porch toward the west contains the front door, and an exterior metal stairway to the south provides some type of access. Above, there is a larger dormer toward the southeast and a smaller one to the southwest. Dormers on the east, north, and west elevations are the same size as the larger ones. On the ground floor, there is a large two-car garage with a door containing a row of windows on the northeast corner. The west elevation displays large picture windows. All ground-floor windows have white sills.

Architecturally, the building appears as a classic cottage when looking at the second floor. It is unusual for such a complicated roof to be built with clay tiles. There’s no obvious front door, no front porch, but there is an attached two-car garage door.
